Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what personal data ProCode collects when you use procode.me or get in touch with us, why we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what rights you have.

We aim to collect only what we genuinely need. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of your personal data is ProCode, Podgorica, Montenegro.

For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, write to [email protected].

2. What data we collect

  • Contact form data: your name, email address, subject and message, the page and language the message was sent from, and your IP address.
  • Correspondence: information you send us by email, phone, WhatsApp, Viber or Instagram, including details about your company and project.
  • Proposal pages: contact details and project information we include in a quote prepared for a specific client.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, time of visit and requested URL, recorded by our servers and network provider.

We do not ask for or collect special categories of data, such as health information, through the website.

3. Contact form and correspondence

Messages from the contact form are delivered by email to our business inbox through the email delivery service Resend, and our mailbox is hosted by Proton Mail. We set your email address as the reply-to address so we can answer you directly.

We use your IP address only to protect the form from abuse and spam, including limiting how many messages can be sent in a short time.

If you contact us via WhatsApp, Viber or Instagram, the privacy policies of those platforms also apply to those conversations.

4. Proposal pages

For some clients we prepare a quote on a dedicated page with a unique link (procode.me/ponuda/...). These pages are not published or linked from the rest of the site and are marked so that search engines do not index them.

We share the link only with the person the proposal is intended for. Please do not forward it to others.

5. How we use your data

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call or meeting.
  • To prepare a proposal, enter into a contract and deliver the project.
  • To keep the website secure, prevent abuse and fix technical problems.
  • To meet our legal obligations, such as accounting and tax requirements.

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing and we do not profile visitors.

We process personal data in line with Montenegro’s Law on Personal Data Protection and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We rely on the following bases:

  • Steps prior to a contract and performance of a contract: answering enquiries, preparing proposals and delivering projects.
  • Legitimate interests: website security, spam prevention and responding to business enquiries.
  • Consent: where we specifically ask for it. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation: keeping invoices and other records required by law.

7. Who we share data with

We share data only with trusted service providers who process it on our instructions:

  • Hosting provider: the cloud server on which we host the website ourselves.
  • Cloudflare: content delivery network, security and protection against attacks.
  • Resend: delivery of contact form emails.
  • Proton Mail: our business email inbox.

Some of these providers may process data outside Montenegro and the European Union. In those cases the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

We host fonts and other website assets ourselves, and the blog is served from our own server, so visiting the site does not send your data to third-party font or content services.

We do not sell data or pass it to third parties for marketing. We may disclose it to public authorities only where the law requires us to.

8. Cookies and local storage

The website does not set tracking or advertising cookies and currently uses no visitor analytics tools.

We use your browser’s local storage (localStorage) only to remember your light or dark theme choice and the blog list view. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies that protect the site from attacks and abuse.

If we introduce analytics in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

9. Data in client projects

When we build an AI solution or business platform for a client, we process that client’s data only on their instructions, under a separate contract and, where needed, a data processing agreement.

Our AI solutions run on our own fine-tuned models, on private infrastructure in the EU or on the client’s own servers. We do not send client data to external AI services and we do not use it to train models for other clients.

10. How long we keep data

  • Contact form messages and correspondence: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless a contract requires longer.
  • Invoices and contract records: for as long as accounting and tax rules require.
  • Proposal pages: until the offer expires or the project ends, or sooner if you ask us to delete them.
  • Technical logs: for a short period, only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.

11. Your rights

Regarding your personal data, you have the right to:

  • Access: find out what data we process about you and receive a copy.
  • Rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure: ask us to delete data when there is no longer a basis for processing it.
  • Restriction: ask us to restrict processing.
  • Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Withdrawal of consent: at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Send your request to [email protected]. We will reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity to protect your data.

If you believe we are not processing your data lawfully, you can lodge a complaint with Montenegro’s Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information. If you live in the EU, you can also contact the supervisory authority in your country.

12. Data security

All traffic to the website is encrypted with HTTPS. Only team members who need data for their work can access it, using protected accounts and the minimum necessary permissions.

No system is completely secure, but we keep our infrastructure up to date and monitor for abuse to keep the risk as low as possible.

13. Children

Our services are intended for companies and organisations, not for people under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors, and if we learn that we have received such data we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when we change how the website works or when the law requires it. The current version is always published on this page with the date of the last update.
